In a small village, in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, not far from the village church is the location of some of the most technologically advanced woodworking equipment available today. Chris King the owner / manager of Lignum Retail Display Stands has worked at this site most of his life, designing and manufacturing wooden garden furniture together with his father Tony King.

Spotting a gap in the point of sale market, Chris recognised an opportunity to create display stands for the retail sector. To date there are 2 basic wooden retail display stand designs, one is a rectangular shelving unit and the second is a 360 degree island unit. Retailers love these display stands for a number of reasons, the first is strength, for many years point of sale display stands have been manufactured from cardboard which disintegrates within a very short time. Lignum manufacture their display stands from high quality plywood which is incredibly strong. The second advantage is the wow factor that these wooden display stands offer, when dressed with a clients product and branding these display stands certainly do stand out from the crowd.
